The sun shone for the Morden Community Clear Up Day held in July when we were joined by a fantastic team from Chequers Contract Services to help make the Morden estate look smarter and cleaner for everyone.

Chequers Contract Services supplied a Skip Lorry along with operatives, Philip and Courtney, who worked hard clearing bin stores and removing unwanted items from resident’s homes and gardens. The garden maintenance team, Scott, Luke and Sean, spent the day trimming hedges and weeding flower beds.

A huge thank you to Terry Ennis, Head of Grounds at Chequers who, as a veteran himself, is hugely supportive of veterans charities. Chequers supplied the equipment and personnel for the whole day to Haig as part of their Social Value contribution.
