Following our success at the London Regional Energy Efficiency Awards earlier this year, Haig Housing was thrilled to pick up more awards at the National Energy Efficiency Awards in Birmingham.
Nominated in two categories, Haig Housing was awarded third place for Solar PV project of the year and had a Special Commendation for Housing Association of the year.
We are really proud to be recognised for our work to improve our homes for veterans and families, making them warmer and more energy efficient. We have over 4,000 people living in our homes, so this work makes a significant difference to them.
Haig is in the delivery stage of an ambitious Sustainability programme which is part-funded by the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) Wave 2.1. Working in partnership with @EON Green Funding Solutions, we are well on the way to completing improvements to the first tranche of 700 homes.
