Luise Locke
Trustee
Luise Locke, WS, has been a Trustee of Haig Housing Trust since 2017, lives in Edinburgh and chairs the Haig Scotland Committee. She was a partner in Edinburgh law firm, Murray Beith & Murray WS from 1989 and thereafter called to the Scots Bar (Faculty of Advocates) in 2000 to specialise in commercial, agricultural and residential landlord/tenant law amongst other areas.
As an advocate, Luise has been a Trustee since 2006 of the Faculty of Advocates 1985 Charitable Trust (regd Scottish Charity 12486) which provides assistance to dependents of deceased members of Faculty and members permanently incapacitated from practice: she was appointed Chair in October 2014. Luise has also held directorships in private companies and graduated MBA from Edinburgh University Business School in 1999.
