Haig is delighted to be involved in the most popular marathon on the planet
On Sunday 26th April 2026, Haig Housing will proudly be cheering on our team of 20+ runners from across the UK including Haig Housing residents, serving and ex-service personnel, families and friends of our veteran community, and our generous corporate supporters.
Our limited charity places for 2026 have now all been allocated. However, if you have been successful in the ballot, we’d love you to join #teamHaig to help raise awareness and vital funds for our work providing over 1500 homes to veterans and their families across the UK.
We support our runners with:
- A Haig branded running vest to proudly wear during training and on the day
- 12 weeks training guidance from our professional running coach, Joe Murphy at RPB Training
- Dedicated WhatsApp group with our #teamHaig running squad for moral support
- Fundraising support to help you smash your target
- Invitation to our #teamHaig training session on Sunday 21st September 2025
- The noisiest cheer squad on the day
- Access to our exclusive post-marathon reception at Wellington Barracks, right by the finish
- Your name added to our online #teamHaig ‘Hall of Fame’
